Discovering STEM programme has been created to increase awareness, instil knowledge, inspire students, and provide them with practical building steps to pursue STEM careers. The programme was inclusive in its reach, addressing negative perceptions, and removing barriers that prevent students from getting into STEM.

Edu-Cater Global delivered three STEM events (Discovering STEM, Discovering ME and Discovering OPPORTUNTIES) and five mentoring sessions throughout the academic year to students at Nottingham Girls Academy and Abraham Moss Community school. These were run in collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan University and Nottingham University and supported by several stakeholders such as IMechE (The Institution of Mechanical Engineers) and EDT (Engineering Development Trust.
